Nurse Practitioner

Monument Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Rapid City Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in neonatal care.
- Current RN licensure in the state of South Dakota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
