We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Laredo Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Teach patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills to promote independence and empowerment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Minimum of 3 months experience as an RN.
- Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners.
- CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
- Preferred: ER experience as an RN, LPN or Nurse Tech.
