Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Educator

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Educator to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN Educator to provide clinical education and support to patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and education, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assist patients and their significant others in acquiring clinical information and education.
  • Use established principles of teaching-learning theory and life-style counseling to individualize instructions for persons of all ages.
  • Develop, review, and update educational information for patients and staff.
  • Evaluate patient's/family's response to education, treatment, and health services provided.
  • Serve as a resource to nursing staff, nursing students, other healthcare personnel, and the community.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
  • 2 years of experience in the field of clinical specialty preferred.
