Key Responsibilities- Assist with Food Preparation and Storage: Assist our chefs with receiving and storing food and kitchen supplies, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Wash and Sanitize Equipment: Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, using dishwashers or by hand, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain Kitchen Areas: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking surfaces, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- Dispose of Waste and Recycling: Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and transport them to the designated areas.
- Perform Other Duties: Assist with other tasks as assigned by management, including breaking down boxes, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing general cleaning duties.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds, and push and pull heavy gondolas filled with trash.
- Hot and Damp Environment: Work in a hot and damp environment, with frequent immersion in water and exposure to chemical cleaning agents.
- Physical Hazards: Exposure to physical hazards, including cuts from broken glass, metal cans, scalds and burns, slipping and tripping.
