Improve Patient Care in Our Oncology Department

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative to support our leading Oncology Department.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who excel at helping people in need. As a friendly face and voice, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly by scheduling appointments, coordinating care, and assisting patients throughout their treatment journey.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Schedule and adjust patient appointments, coordinating with multiple departments.
  • Register and consent patients, ensuring accurate documentation in EPIC to secure correct insurance co-pays.
  • Retrieve, scan, and manage patient records, guaranteeing timely updates.
  • Triage phone calls, address patient inquiries, and advocate for patient needs.
  • Verify insurance coverage, obtain referrals/authorizations, and help resolve billing issues.
  • Assist with patient admissions into radiation treatments and follow-ups.

To be eligible for this position, applicants should demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Intake Coordinator.
  • Previous experience in Oncology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in EPIC software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience. You must be able to pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen, and maintain current vaccinations, including COVID booster, flu, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (declination accepted), TB, and Tdap.
