About the Associate Credit Analyst Role
The Associate Credit Analyst position is part of a comprehensive training program aimed at equipping individuals with essential banking skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in both credit analysis and sales training, allowing analysts to develop a robust understanding of financial risk assessment while honing their sales capabilities through practical experience.
This program is designed to cultivate well-rounded banking professionals with strong analytical and relationship management skills. It includes structured training sessions followed by rotations across various lending departments.
Key RequirementsTo be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Completion of at least 6 credit hours in accounting courses (9 hours preferred, including Intermediate Accounting I)

Preferred QualificationsSuccessful candidates will possess:
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking

- Prior internship or work experience in a related field is advantageous
The training program consists of three distinct phases:
Phase 1: Initial TrainingThis phase includes extensive classroom training, covering fundamental banking concepts and analytical techniques essential for sound credit decision-making.
Phase 2: Rotational ExperienceParticipants will gain hands-on experience through assignments in various lending groups, enhancing their analytical skills and understanding of business development.
Phase 3: Career PlacementFollowing the completion of the program, successful analysts will be placed in roles that align with their skills and organizational needs, paving the way for career advancement.
Career Advancement OpportunitiesAs analysts progress, they can expect to manage their own portfolios and work closely with senior executives, contributing to the success of medium to large enterprises.
