Breakfast Host

The Complimentary AM Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in the hotel's breakfast area. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in delivering a high-quality experience. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in hotel-brand standards, guest expectations, and the unique characteristics of the hotel and local area.

• Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
• Ensure high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.
• Comply with hotel regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, including food and beverage requirements, and ascertain which services could enhance their stay.
• Greet and seat guests at tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure quality control of menus, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables/hotel spaces as needed.
• Accommodate special requests and offer alternatives when necessary.
• Communicate with departments regarding VIPs and special requests.
• Support beverage and food service areas, including washing dishes, restocking, and performing side work duties.
• Answer the telephone according to standards.
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus, current specials, and service standards.
• Carry out cashiering functions, closing checks, and end-of-shift paperwork.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, side work duties, and answer questions about the hotel and local area.
