We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Froedtert Hospital Proton Therapy. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing radiation therapy simulation and treatments to cancer patients in Radiation Oncology.
Key Responsibilities- Document radiation oncology simulation and treatment information in hospital and Radiation EMR
- Explain treatment procedures to patients and answer their questions in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor of Science Degree from an ARRT Certified Radiation Therapy program or 5 years of previous Radiation Therapist experience
- Certification as a RT (T) Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of hire
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
