Job Overview: As a Medical Assistant at the Commonwealth of Virginia, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with various tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing basic medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.
- Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification through the Virginia Board of Nursing is a plus; American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is also required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
