Support Victims of Sexual Violence as a Rape Crisis Center Counselor

We are seeking a qualified Rape Crisis Center Counselor to join our team at the Sexual Violence Center (SVC). As a member of our team, you will provide vital support services to victims of sexual violence in Carver and Scott counties. Your expertise in crisis intervention, case management, and counseling will enable you to effectively respond to the needs of our clients. Additionally, you will conduct outreach efforts, liaison with stakeholders, and facilitate support groups. Responsibilities:
* Provide crisis intervention, case management, and counseling services to victims of sexual violence* Conduct outreach efforts to promote SVC's services in Carver and Scott counties* Liaise with stakeholders in response to sexual violence* Facilitate support groups and offer direct services backup support* Coordinate and support volunteers and interns assigned to the satellite office* Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve organizational goals and objectives* Maintain accurate records and reports as required by funders and regulators

Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field* 3+ years of experience in crisis intervention, case management, and counseling* Strong commitment to social justice and ability to work with diverse populations* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team* Familiarity with trauma-informed care and victim-centered approaches* Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation* Knowledge of local resources and services that support victims of sexual violence
