About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our imaging services, ensuring the highest quality diagnostic images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee all Radiology procedures to ensure the highest diagnostic quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with modality leadership to ensure adequate staff training and maintain the highest quality diagnostic images.
  • Assure proper operating performance of all equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Promote and communicate with nursing services, clinical areas, and physicians to obtain pertinent clinical information of Radiology patients.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary supplies to maintain efficient department functionality.
  • Perform daily clerical duties, including the use of EMR, PACS, and other computer systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment, including capital equipment.
  • Assist with talent selection and onboarding.
  • Schedule monthly departmental meetings and in-services.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to provide continual quality patient care and department needs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal school of Radiologic technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a staff technologist.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
