We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and oversee all Radiology procedures to ensure diagnostic quality, accuracy, and patient safety.
- Collaborate with modality leadership to ensure adequate staff training and maintain the highest quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure proper operating performance of all equipment and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Promote effective communication with nursing services, clinical areas, and physicians to obtain pertinent clinical information.
- Manage departmental supplies and ensure efficient functionality.
- Perform daily clerical duties, including EMR, PACS, and Teletracking System.
- Prepare payroll, staff schedules, and on-call coverage sheets.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment, including capital equipment.
- Assist with talent selection and onboarding.
- Schedule departmental meetings and in-services.
- Flexibility in work schedule to provide quality patient care and department needs.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal school of Radiologic technology.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a staff technologist.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
