Job Summary

Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to our patients. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to our mission of providing world-class healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement nutritional care plans according to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process (NCP)
  • Conduct Nutrition Focused Physical Assessments (NFPA) to identify patients with malnutrition
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to ensure quality and cost-effective interventions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s)
  • Completion of a dietetic internship accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • RD - Registered Dietitian (CDR) certification
  • LD - License Dietitian, State Licensure within 60 days
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification
