JobsRUs is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Expert to join our team in Urbana, IL.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong background in chemistry to oversee the quality control aspects of multiple business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, plans, and deliverables, as well as collaborating with our QC lab staff to ensure the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare standards, samples, and perform testing, analyzing data, and making usage decisions for R&D and finished goods.
  • Collaborate with QC senior scientist to adhere to testing schedules and lab workload.
  • Assist with instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
  • Follow quality system guidelines, including SOPs, change controls, and deviation reporting.
  • Complete required training and remain current with all necessary certifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related physical science.
  • 1+ years of analytical laboratory experience.
  • Project management experience and effective communication skills are preferred.
Physical Attributes

The ideal candidate will be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted, sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate equipment for extended periods. They will also be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
