Job Description

A dynamic IT professional is needed to manage technical infrastructure and networking projects across multiple school districts in Westchester County. This person will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of various technical projects, including wireless network upgrades, VoIP implementations, and data center system refreshes. They will partner with directors at the school districts to prioritize projects, develop project plans, and allocate budgets. In addition, they will work closely with external vendors for technical services and equipment procurement, as well as internal technicians who will execute the technical work.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They must be process-driven, with a strong understanding of technical infrastructure and networking concepts. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while also managing business-as-usual tickets in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical infrastructure and networking projects across multiple school districts
  • Partner with directors at the school districts to prioritize projects and develop project plans
  • Allocate budgets and work with external vendors for technical services and equipment procurement
  • Manage internal technicians who will execute the technical work
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical infrastructure and networking
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of technical infrastructure and networking concepts
Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per year
