Key Responsibilities- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect plant process machinery and provide recommendations for repair to maintain optimal performance.
- Install and repair plant process machinery, providing detailed written descriptions of work performed.
- Operate equipment such as boom-lifts, cranes, forklifts, and other related mobile equipment.
- Provide scope of work, parts requirements, and equipment requirements for repairs during scheduled and unscheduled mill and kiln outages.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
- High school graduation or equivalent is required.
- Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Willingness to learn, with training provided.
- Some college courses preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with heavy processing equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Mineral Processing industry preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a cement plant or similar heavy industry setting.
- Must have knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to repair and rebuild plant equipment with little supervision.
- Ability to reason through difficult operations/maintenance problems and resolve them.
