Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at ONE STEP DIAGNOSTIC, you will utilize your specialized knowledge and skills to produce high-quality mammographic images for screening and/or diagnosis used for detecting breast tissue abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will work with specialized equipment to produce accurate and high-quality mammographic images.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining current knowledge and skills in mammography, including adhering to strict quality control standards and protocols.
  • With a solid foundation in mammography, you will work effectively within a team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations, and maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed, including face masks, goggles, and latex/non-latex gloves.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to Infection Control, Standard Precautions, and OSHA standards for healthcare professionals.
  • You will be required to read, write, and effectively communicate in English, as well as understand medical/surgical terminology.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and accurately discern color as necessary to perform job functions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology with specialized Mammography training/certification.
  • Current state of Texas license and registration with the American Registry for Radiology Technicians (ARRT-R).
  • Mammography certification (ARRT-M) is required.
  • Twelve months of accumulated experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification.
  • Maintenance of current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for Healthcare workers.
