Job Title: Orthopaedic Floor Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at DMOS Orthopaedic Center. As a key member of our care team, you will provide independent acute and/or trauma medical care to patients in the Trauma department for admitted patients at the hospital.

About the Role:
  • Provide onsite assessment, rounding, direct care, operating room support, and other duties related to mid-level Trauma professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with our Orthopaedic Physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of strong hospital and/or orthopaedic experience.
  • Physician Assistant Certification or Nurse Practitioner license from an accredited program.
  • Eligible to practice as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the state of Iowa.
  • Up-to-date on vaccinations, including Covid-19, and meet all requirements necessary for credentialing.
