About the Role

This is a Full Time 40 hour per week position with no required holidays or weekends. The ideal candidate would have at least two years cardiology experience and be responsible for telephone triage of patients cared for by the clinical cardiology team. Responsibilities also include nurse office visits, support of stress testing and viability studies. Once trained, this candidate would have the opportunity to have a hybrid remote schedule.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between $63,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location-specific factors.

Job Description

The Cardiology Care Professional will use professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office. This role performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
