Position Summary:

This role involves performing a variety of custodial tasks across different facilities, including offices, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will also support the college's preventive maintenance initiatives, care for the grounds, and ensure high-quality maintenance and cleaning services are delivered. Additionally, the specialist will respond to urgent maintenance and cleaning requests and undertake other related responsibilities as needed.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance of various campus facilities.
  • Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the college grounds.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and janitorial needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of one year of experience in janitorial and maintenance roles.

  4. Strong customer service skills.
  5. Ability to adhere to established processes and procedures.
  6. Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  7. Valid driver's license required.

This position operates on an on-call/as-needed basis.
