Job Summary

The Global Procurement Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company on a global scale. This role involves negotiating contracts with suppliers from around the world to secure the best prices for the company while maintaining inventory levels to execute contracts and deliverables.

Education and Certification Requirements

Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or demonstrate commensurate experience. Five to seven years related experience in a Food Production Manufacturing environment is required. Proven track record of cost savings in the Purchasing Department in a fast-paced environment is necessary. Strong negotiation skills are required. Speaking, reading, and writing English is a must.

Microsoft Windows office suite including Outlook is required. SAP experience is highly preferred. Work in a usual office environment. Occasionally work in the warehouse where it is ambient temperature or in a cooler. Full-time position with 40-50 hours per week and 1st shift.
