We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as substitute teachers or educational support staff in the Sioux Falls School District. As a substitute teacher or educational support staff member, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

About the Role

Our substitute teachers and educational support staff work with various students across different grade levels, subjects, and schools. This role requires flexibility, patience, and effective communication skills. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and working collaboratively with teachers and school administrators.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or 60 post-secondary credits with two years of successful work experience; or a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of successful work experience.
  • Completion of an online application, including transcripts.
  • Positive personal/employment references with email addresses.
  • The ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Email account and phone number.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
