Position Summary:
As a vital member of our team, you will be tasked with a variety of cleaning responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor, ensuring that all duties align with our service agreements. Your role will encompass maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, managing floor care, cleaning windows, and performing general office sanitation, as well as exterior maintenance and pressure washing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit proficiency in cleaning glass surfaces and executing floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and buffing.
  • Prioritize safety in all activities by adhering to best practices:
  1. Exhibit appropriate conduct while traveling and performing duties.
  2. Utilize correct techniques for lifting, carrying, and bending.
  3. Ensure safe loading of equipment into vehicles for visibility and safety.
  4. Operate machinery in a safe manner.
  5. Maintain an organized workspace to prevent accidents.
  6. Employ caution signage during cleaning activities.
  7. Seek guidance on the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  8. Read and understand product labels.
  • Complete all tasks as directed by your supervisor.

Typical Duties May Include:
  • Disinfecting restrooms
  • Cleaning windows
  • Vacuuming and shampooing carpets
  • Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
  • Removing trash

  • Clean equipment post-use, including rinsing mops and maintaining machinery. Cleaning of vehicles may also be necessary.
  • Adhere to the regulations and standards set by WellLife Network.
  • Occasionally lift or move heavy items, such as cleaning machines and chemical supplies.

  • Climbing ladders may be required for tasks such as changing light bulbs or cleaning elevated surfaces.
  • Ensure proper dilution and usage of cleaning chemicals according to specifications, which necessitates the ability to read and interpret labels.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Restock supplies upon returning from assignments as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing training and attend scheduled staff meetings.
  • Clear snow using hand tools or snow blowers as necessary.
  • Flexibility is essential as work schedules and locations may vary.

Qualifications:
While a high school diploma is preferred, familiarity with cleaning equipment and maintenance practices is essential. Candidates must be able to wear the designated uniform and possess a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle. Basic computer skills are advantageous.
