Baylor Scott & White Health, a leading healthcare provider in Texas, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Baylor Scott & White Hospital- College Station. As a key member of the nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing patient care provided by the healthcare team, conducting detailed clinical assessments, prioritizing patient needs, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Prioritize patient needs and coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services
- Educate patients, families, and colleagues on various aspects of patient care, including disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Collaborate with colleagues and community members to create comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:
- A current and valid nursing license in the state of Texas
- BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
- Demonstrated expertise in medical terminology, health promotion, disease prevention, and management
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and groups
