Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Engineer position at Worldwide TechServices is an intermediate role that requires technical expertise and excellent communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients, ensuring their technology-based products are functioning optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair activities for a variety of technology-based products, including PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
- Provide exceptional support to our valued clients, responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with our service desk team to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Perform Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients' operations.
- Display outstanding technical and professional services skills at all times, meeting and exceeding our customer service satisfaction levels.
- Proactively communicate with clients and service desk personnel regarding repair status, arrival times, and estimated repair times.
- Stay up-to-date with all documented service operations policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence.
Requirements:
- Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Maintain all required OEM certifications as directed by management.
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems, including ITIL methodologies.
- A+ certification is desired, with additional customer-specific certifications or training as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
