The primary responsibility of the Industrial Maintenance Specialist is to deliver proficient and effective mechanical and electrical maintenance assistance to the production line and facility operations while ensuring safety standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role directly contributes to the daily productivity and functionality of the plant. The specialist will perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all food processing and packaging machinery using various hand and power tools.
- Moreover, this individual guarantees that all good manufacturing practices, food safety and quality regulations, as well as safety protocols, are consistently adhered to.
- Accountable for the setup of assigned machinery to ensure that daily production targets are achieved.
- Responsible for coordinating product changeovers to enhance line efficiencies.
- Ensure that production lines are equipped with the necessary components to meet the daily production schedule.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting in a mechanical or related role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong mechanical understanding of gear and motor principles and operations.
- Experience in repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
