Overnight Intake Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Overnight Intake Coordinator to join our team at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient intake process for patients seeking psychiatric stabilization diagnosis treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient referrals and determine the level of care required
  • Coordinate with nursing, medical, and other disciplines to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Complete pre-certification with insurance companies to authorize hospitalization
  • Lead and accompany patients to and from activities, examinations, and treatments as assigned
  • Redirect or restrain patients using Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in a behavioral healthcare hospital setting required
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
