Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing estimates for time needed for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair, are preferred but not required.
- Strong dexterity, requiring steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Team player with effective collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Compensation:
Competitive pay starting at $31.00, based on skill set.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM) or Tuesday - Saturday (8 AM - 5 PM).
