Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who will play a vital role in maintaining our properties. This position requires a blend of technical skills and a proactive approach to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building areas to identify temperature inconsistencies.
  • Perform routine checks on vacant units.
  • Handle electrical tasks such as bulb and ballast replacements, along with plumbing, painting, and carpentry as needed.
  • Manage lock repairs and installations, ensuring all necessary keys are prepared and distributed.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving for various facility issues.
  • Report any maintenance concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhere to the dress code by wearing company uniforms during work hours.
  • Order and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Repair drywall and paint common areas and offices as required.
  • Install necessary signage throughout the properties.
  • Ensure cleanliness in shared spaces.
  • Complete low-complexity repairs as assigned.
  • Foster positive interactions with tenants to enhance their experience.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining good tenant relations.
  • Exhibit politeness, courtesy, and helpfulness at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Possess a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance software.
