Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks and work orders.
  • Maintaining a detailed log of all maintenance activities.
  • Conducting regular inspections of building spaces to identify and address temperature irregularities.
  • Performing routine checks on vacant units.
  • Executing electrical repairs, including bulb and ballast replacements, as well as plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks as needed.
  • Managing lock and key systems, including repairs and installations.
  • Engaging in troubleshooting and problem-solving for various facility issues.
  • Reporting maintenance concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Adhering to uniform policies during working hours.
  • Ordering and stocking necessary supplies.
  • Repairing drywall and painting common areas and offices.
  • Installing signage as required.
  • Cleaning and maintaining common areas.
  • Completing low-complexity repairs efficiently.
  • Interacting positively with tenants to enhance their experience.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance software.
