POSITION SUMMARY
As a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you will take charge of the daily functions within our modular housing production facility, ensuring that all benchmarks related to production efficiency, cost management, safety protocols, and quality assurance are achieved. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to excellence.
- Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 based on experience
- Performance-based bonus: 10%

Key Responsibilities
- Innovate and challenge conventional methods while collaborating with the team to shape the future of modular housing.
- Oversee and direct a team of production technicians, establishing clear expectations and providing support to achieve production goals.
- Manage daily production schedules to ensure timely product delivery while maximizing resource efficiency.
- Uphold and enforce strict safety standards and best practices to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quickly identify and resolve production challenges, implementing corrective measures to minimize downtime and uphold product quality.
- Work alongside the production planning team to align material and labor needs.
- Guide, mentor, and develop production team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
- Conduct regular performance assessments and offer constructive feedback to team members.
- Monitor production expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.
- Maintain precise production documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with quality assurance to ensure products meet or exceed established quality criteria.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience as a production supervisor or in a similar capacity within a manufacturing environment, with direct oversight of an hourly workforce.
- Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make swift, informed decisions and effectively resolve issues.
- Proficient in using computer systems such as ERP, MRP, MES, QMS, and WMS, in addition to Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements
- Availability for extended hours and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Engagement in repetitive assembly tasks, including standing, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying.
