Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist RRT, you will be responsible for administering and coordinating various treatments related to respiratory problems for patients of all ages. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide effective direct care and communicate patient care updates to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and coordinate respiratory treatments for patients of all ages
  • Provide effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Communicate patient care updates to the team
  • Respond to emergency and critical care situations
  • Assess patients and take appropriate action
  • Document treatments and patient information accurately
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Care Professional) in the state of Georgia
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • One year of prior experience in a relevant position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred licensure or certifications: Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Care Professional)
  • Preferred educational requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Preferred experience: Two years of prior experience in a relevant position
