Key Responsibilities- Filling orders with precision and attention to detail
- Conducting quality checks on technician-prepared products
- Maintaining the security and integrity of our pharmacy and controlled substances
- Entering orders and patient information with accuracy and speed
- Aiding in the training of new staff members
- Providing updates to the Director on daily pharmacy activities
- Supporting the Director in maintaining pharmacy operations
Methodist Hospital Northlake is a not-for-profit, community-based healthcare system with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Our hospital has a combined campus bed capacity of 625 plus nurseries, and we are equipped with the latest technology to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Indiana
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program (strongly preferred)
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- HepB3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
