Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and provide optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements
Requirements
  • Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • Experience in clinical area preferred
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association OR Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification
  • Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required, or within six (6) months of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association, preferred
