Job Title: RN - Emergency Room

About Our Health System

SOVAH Danville is a 250-bed hospital located in Danville, VA, and is part of LifePoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier. Our Emergency Department provides care to patients across the lifespan for all medical emergencies. We are a designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred). Additional requirements include:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support
  • Experience in clinical area preferred
  • American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association OR Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification
  • Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required, or within six (6) months of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association, preferred
