Become a Part of Techifi as a TECH I

POSITION SUMMARY: As a TECH I at Techifi, you will collaborate with experienced TECH II, TECH III, and Project Managers to implement our state-of-the-art client solutions. Your contribution is vital in ensuring that all equipment is installed with precision and efficiency, playing a significant role in the overall installation process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute the installation of Audio/Video systems, including Speakers, Televisions, A/V Distribution, and Amplification.
  • Configure Networking devices such as Routers, Switches, Modems, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
  • Set up Camera Surveillance Systems utilizing IP/Analog Cameras and NVR/DVR systems.
  • Assist in the deployment of Lighting Systems and Components, including Modules, Low Voltage Systems, Fixtures, and DMX.
  • Implement Shading Systems that involve Modules and Low Voltage Systems.
  • Establish Control Systems incorporating Keypads, Touch Panels, Controllers, and Modules.
  • Organize Cables and Wires through tasks such as Prewiring, Rack construction, and Termination.
  • Perform structured cabling in newly constructed residential properties.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by your field supervisor.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Prior or current participation in an apprenticeship program.
  • Fundamental understanding of the Audio and Video distribution sector, control systems, panelized lighting, low-voltage lighting, networking, and surveillance systems.
  • Possession of personal tools, including Hand tools and Power tools.
  • Capability to provide personal transportation when necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical activities include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting items weighing up to 80 lbs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasional travel may be required for project assignments or training purposes.
