Job Title: Entry-Level Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team at Degenkolb Engineers. As a structural engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and analyzing building structures to ensure they are safe and functional.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and a passion for delivering high-quality designs. You will work closely with our experienced engineers to develop and implement structural solutions for a variety of projects, including healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze architectural and structural drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions using software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, and RISA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that structural designs meet project requirements and are constructible.
  • Assist in solving client construction challenges and provide constructible solutions.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering with 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Passing grade on FE exam.
  • Knowledge of software programs such as AutoCAD, Tekla, RISA, RAM, Revit, Excel, MathCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, Python, or others.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work independently.
What We Offer:

Degenkolb Engineers offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $114,000 annually, depending on location, education level, and candidate qualifications. We also offer a flexible hybrid work schedule, a fun office environment, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
