Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing novel communications systems, including RF components such as antennas, amplifiers, and filters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document RF system/subsystem requirements, designs, and block diagrams for novel communications systems.
  • Design, build, and test communications systems consisting of RF components.
  • Design and execute RF system tests to ensure technology fulfills customer requirements.
  • Lead prototype and development efforts for demonstrations to showcase Rampart's technology to potential customers.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the field of RF/microwave design.
  • Good working knowledge of mixed-signal RF systems design, especially front-end receiver design, and associated software tools.
  • Basic knowledge of data collection, processing, and analysis practices.
  • Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Arbitrary Waveform Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
  • Digital signal processing (theory, simulation, or software implementation).
  • Experience in Matlab, C/C++, python, etc.
