We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Underwriter to join our team at National Bank of Arizona. As a Mortgage Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness
  • Evaluate income, asset, and credit documentation
  • Make sound decisions based on data analysis
  • Communicate with loan center and branch personnel
  • Stay up-to-date with federal and state laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting
  • Extensive knowledge of consumer/mortgage credit and lending concepts
  • Ability to review and analyze complex data
  • Strong customer relations and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
