Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Sharon at SouthPark. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality resident care and support in our continuing care retirement community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, implement, and document resident care plans in collaboration with physicians and registered nurses.
  • Provide education to residents and families on medications, disease processes, and treatment recommendations.
  • Process and follow up on referrals to outside specialists and therapies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and document accordingly.
  • Participate in on-going resident assessment and evaluate resident response to nursing actions under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of a Licensed Practical Nurse title.
  • Current unencumbered North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work effectively within a team environment.
