Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in North Carolina. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care to our patients.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in accordance with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act. This includes tasks, activities, and functions as delegated and may make assignment of duties to others as defined in their state of practice act.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality care to patients in accordance with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans based on the individual needs of the patient.
  • Care for wounds with appropriate cleaning and dressing/bandaging.
  • Administer medications as directed by the HSA, DON, or Registered Nurse.
  • Monitor vital signs and report changes to appropriate medical staff.
  • Document actions and medical records.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Possesses an active CPR certification.
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.

Work Schedule

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work a Full-Time, Night Shift schedule with shift differentials available for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and Weekend shifts.
