Position Highlights:- Create High-Quality Designs: Your technical skills, combined with our advanced AI for MEP software, will enable you to produce some of the most precise and high-quality plans in the industry, significantly reducing the time required compared to conventional design methods.

- Mentor and Support Your Team: You will have the opportunity to share your unique experiences and knowledge to uplift your colleagues.
- Collaborate with clients, the MEP/FP/IT design team, and other consultants to ensure alignment with the client's vision, resolve conflicts, and maintain a fully coordinated interdisciplinary design.
- Engage in meetings and conference calls as necessary.
- Familiarize yourself with relevant codes applicable to the projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other software to develop comprehensive electrical construction document packages, including plans for electrical distribution, devices, equipment connections, luminaires, controls, fire alarm systems, and all associated circuitry.
- Conduct essential calculations to support design decisions, including load, short-circuit, and photometric calculations.
- Coordinate with local utility providers to secure necessary utility services for projects.
- Work with equipment vendors and manufacturers to select and specify suitable equipment.
- Provide construction administration services, including responding to requests for information (RFIs).
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Possession of an ABET-accredited degree in Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis or Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems.
- A minimum of five years of electrical design experience within an MEP/FP engineering consultancy.
- Advanced knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code).
- Engineer-Intern (EI) credentials in Electrical Engineering are required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) credentials in Electrical Engineering are preferred or must be obtainable.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
