Job Summary

Securian Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Structured Assets Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our asset management team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating structured assets, providing recommendations to support investment decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate structured assets, including primary and secondary markets, to identify investment opportunities and potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial markets, risk models, and structural nuances to inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the structured assets team to develop and implement investment strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Contribute to the development of research tools and methodologies to enhance the analysis and evaluation of structured assets.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in investment research, with a focus on structured assets and credit analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, risk models, and structural nuances.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
