Research Focus
The successful candidates will engage in a variety of research initiatives that span fundamental ecological studies and practical applications related to environmental change, ecological restoration, and conservation efforts. Opportunities
With access to diverse aquatic ecosystems, candidates will have the opportunity to investigate the impacts of human activities on both local and global biodiversity. This includes studying endemic species and those at risk of extinction.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, demonstrating a strong academic record and significant scholarly contributions. The ideal candidates will have the autonomy to define their research trajectories within the realms of aquatic ecology and conservation biology.
Responsibilities
Appointees are expected to:
1. Develop and lead a vibrant research program.
2. Mentor graduate students at both the Ph.D. and M.Sc. levels.
3. Seek external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
