Perioperative Nurse Specialist

Delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced perioperative setting is the primary focus of this Registered Nurse role at ChristianaCare.
We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our team, providing expert care for patients undergoing elective surgery, with a primary focus on joint replacement and bariatric surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring excellent outcomes and minimizing complications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative management, and post-operative recovery.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current skills and knowledge in perioperative nursing.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required, with a minimum of 6 months of medical/surgical RN experience.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
This part-time Midnight schedule offers a competitive salary, with a guaranteed $60,000 per annum, plus shift differentials and a robust benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 403b retirement plan, pet insurance, and more.
The estimated salary for this role is approximately $67,860 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
