Job Requirements
  • Apply electromagnetic/RF/radar theories to review and critique RF characteristics and its performance and interactions with other RF equipment.
  • Perform data conversion and write scripts to automate data conversion processes.
  • Perform and defend the RF link budget to demonstrate the RF performance.
  • Apply RF/radar theories to review the equipment specifications of any RF/radar equipment against DoD/NTIA/ITU RF/radar standards.
  • Justify and defend how the RF equipment performs and its compliance/non-compliances to RF standards.
  • Work with vendors/program office/designer to recommend how the equipment can be changed to meet DoD/NTIA/ITU standards.
  • Follow DoD and NTIA procedures to ensure that equipment meets DoD/national RF standards.
  • Work in a dynamic team environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in electrical engineering, electronic technology, or another similar technical discipline.
  • Strong technical background and minimum of 2 years of experience in Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge, RF equipment certification compliance to NTIA standard, radar, RF design components, link budget, commercial wireless 5G/6G, RF modeling and simulation, experiences with various federal agencies.
  • Secret Clearance or US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Familiarity with office365, windows, and other commonly used software.
  • Familiarity with DISA's End-to-End Supportability System (E2ESS).
  • Familiarity with the Equipment Location-Certification Information Database (EL-CID) and ELCID Online.
