About the Role

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in Lorton, VA. As a Software Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for law enforcement and homeland security missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical support in areas of design, development, engineering, research, evaluation, deployment, integration, and maintenance of software and systems.
  • Write application code, automated tests, and inform deployment procedures.
  • Conduct design and code reviews, participate in daily scrums, retrospective, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with the development team to support QA/QC and troubleshooting activities.
  • Provide assistance monitoring and resolving issues with deployed systems.
Requirements
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and a minimum of 8 years of related experience OR Master's Degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 5+ years of experience.
  • Possess hands-on experience and ability to work tasks with Python, HTML/CSS/Javascript, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
  • Development frameworks like React, Spring Boot, Bootstrap.
  • Microservice architectures, software platforms, and frameworks like NiFi and Ansible.
  • Monolithic and hybrid architectures and databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, rdbms, NoSQL.
  • Version control systems such as Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and container orchestration platforms such as Docker.
