About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Quality Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quote aftermarket and warranty parts to ensure accurate pricing and delivery.
  • Issue scrap reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to track production efficiency.
  • Perform duties of Quality Technician (Production Inspection) during production surges or as backup for others on vacation or sick leave.
  • Manage Quality records, including Deviation Reports and inspection data.
  • Support ISO 9001 certification maintenance, including internal audits and corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years of related experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with MAPICS and MOM (JCI BOM system) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
