Job Summary

The Banking and International Risk Issues Management Senior Officer is a strategic professional responsible for managing and mitigating risks associated with international banking operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze BIR Issues Management related to issue identification, root cause analysis, remediation, closure, monitoring, reporting, and escalation to ensure comprehensive and timely issue resolution.
  • Communicate risk and control environment to senior management through regular meetings and reports, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Partner with issue owners to recommend corrective actions, provide guidance, and ensure appropriate escalation in accordance with issue management and escalation policies.
  • Develop and implement approaches to address emerging issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management.
  • Lead and coordinate meetings with multiple levels of management to drive remediation and track progress, utilizing strong communication and influence skills.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing support to stakeholders and control functions on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Assess risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Citi's risk management policies and procedures.
Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, excellent communication and diplomacy skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and experience in risk management or a related field.
