About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests, analyzing results, and communicating with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Analyze results and communicate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient care
- Develop and maintain department quality assurance programs
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and hospital staff
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, depending on the specialty area
- Scientist Certification from ASCP or AMT
- Knowledge of current medical terminology and laboratory equipment
